![]() ![]() Generally only go for Kinsect Dashes to stack the dive when the monster is knocked down, falling asleep, paralyzed or will remain stationary for long enough to guarantee you hitting the dive. Can someone help me understand this weapon please? This post is probably entirely bias as a player coming off of swaxe and GS with their sweet counters, but I am seriously lost here. ![]() During investigations, it also doesn't seem like bloodblite ever gives you substantial health generation from attacks so that's another bane that doesn't let you get aggressive without losing all your health again (unless I'm just doing the wrong combos when I get bloodblite) Then, as for the ground approach using tetraseal and spamming combos, the attacks feel like they make you stay in place for so long I just get hit 99% of the time and lose most of my health. Most monsters in this game also seem to have a hitbox that covers the ENTIRE area above them during most attacks so it's hard to even approach from the air. Touching any monster with kinsect slash almost immediately results in a counter-hit into 50% hp gone because they were in the first or last frame of an attack. The problem lies in that it seems almost impossible to approach any monster from the air. On ground, I'm using tetraseal in combos a lot, then launching myself away when the monster gets aggressive. I get my max kinsect buffs, then launch myself in the air and usually connect twice with a monster using kinsect slash, then perform a finishing diving wyvern. I don't know if I'm playing this weapon wrong or what but it feels so difficult to play for little reward. I feel like this weapon so far is vastly inferior to anything I've tried before. ![]()
